solar panels installed at PLMS

The solar panel installation at Pine Lake Middle is nearly complete and will go online in the next couple of weeks. According to Puget Sound Energy (PSE) calculations the panels can produce about 175 KW or 175,000 watts on a sunny day. A 10-watt LED light bulb produces the equivalent light output as an old fashioned 60-watt incandescent light bulb. That’s enough solar gain to light up about 17,500 LED light bulbs.

Principal Michelle Caponigro

Meet Principal Michelle Caponigro

Hello, Wolverine families! If you would like to know the best thing about being a principal, I’ll tell you – it's the kids! A few fun facts about me: My current favorite young adult book is “The Hate You Give.” If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be roasted sweet potatoes. My bucket list includes the goal of living abroad for five years. I was once featured in the “Guinness Book of World Records” for being in the largest group of clarinet players ever assembled!
