General School Supply List

This is not intended to be a complete list and some teachers may make additional requests once school begins. This list is intended to be a general list of useful supplies.

6^th Grade Supply List:

• Filing system - example: small Three Ring Binder with dividers, or folder(s) etc.
• Organizational Planner- PLMS Planner (available for purchase), or electronic planner, or use within Canvas
• Pencil Pouch
• Pencils – pre-sharpened
• Colored pencils (erasable)
• Erasers
• 2 Red Pens
• Glue Stick (small)
• Pencil Sharpener (small)

• Two-pocket folders with prongs (6)
• Scientific Calculator (TI-30XIIS is recommended)
• Wired headphones to use with laptops that fit in pencil pouch

• Earth & Space Science: Spiral notebook – single subject at least 100 pages 8 1/2 x 11" with plastic cover (example: 5-Star spiral)

PE:

• PE Uniform- Available for purchase at PLMS (online or with bookkeeper)

Health:

• Colored 3x5 cards. At least 50-100 per color of Blue pink, green, yellow, and white.

Music:

Choir:

• Pencil
• Spiral or composition notebook
• Concert Attire:
  • Black on bottom (skirt or dress pants), black dress shoes & socks
  • White or black dress shirt or blouse
  • Black dresses are also allowed
• Water bottle (recommended)

Orchestra:

• 1” Black Binder (hard cover) which can be purchased from our school bookkeeper
• Pencil
• Your instrument and accessories (6th grade will select instruments in September)
• Method book:  Essential Elements for Strings (book 1 for 6th grade, book 2 for 7th ​‌grade)
• PLMS Music Polo Shirt - to be ordered in late September
• Black pants, all black shoes & socks for performances
• Wired music stand for home practice

Band:

• 1” Black Binder (hard cover) which can be purchased from our school bookkeeper
• Pencil
• Your instrument and accessories (6th grade will select instruments in September)
