Club Fairs on Display at Pine Lake Middle School

Students give presentation on their environmental club during homeroom.

Last week, students at Pine Lake Middle School gathered in the commons to learn about the different clubs available at their school.

Pine Lake 8th grader Ryan H. represented the Earth Service Corps Club, also known as the Environmental Club. He covered topics relating to environmental justice and sustainability. Ryan and other club representatives were available to answer questions about the club.

Other clubs present were the Chinese Club, Robotics, and GSA.

Club members also created fun and informational digital presentations and posterboards to help promote their club. Peers gathered around various stations to ask questions and learn more about how to get involved and the activities that take place within each student organization.

A wide variety of clubs are offered at schools across the district, giving students the opportunity to explore and engage with topics that peak their interest.
Clubs also offer another outlet for students to build relationships and gain new skills.

Students: Consider reaching out to staff at your school to find out what kinds of clubs are offered. Or, check out your school’s website under “Student Life,” then “Activities.”
