Discovering Nature and Fostering Inclusion: Visit to Woodland Park Zoo

Students in front of trees at the zoo

Fourteen students from Pine Lake, accompanied by six staff members, had an enjoyable outing at the Woodland Park Zoo this Monday. The trip, organized by Pine Lake, aimed to provide a fun and inclusive experience for students and their peer tutors. The zoo visit featured several attractions, but the zebras and baby monkeys were particularly popular among the group.

This educational trip not only allowed the students to learn more about wildlife but also fostered a sense of community and inclusion.
