On March 10, Pine Lake Middle School welcomed future sixth graders from its feeder elementary schools for an exciting preview of middle school life! These eager fifth graders explored their soon-to-be stomping grounds, touring classrooms, science labs, and the bustling library. They also got a firsthand look at sixth-grade course offerings, featuring a presentation from the Woodshop teacher and a lively showcase from the choir, band, and orchestra.
Current Pine Lake WAVE leaders put on a fun skit and shared insider tips on surviving middle school—like how not to get lost in the hallways and where to find the best lunch spots. By the end of the tour, excitement was high, and the countdown to sixth grade had officially begun!
